HELLO I'M MARGARITA

ABOUT
WHY MARKETING?
I believe there are multiple ways of looking at everything. I grew up bilingual and bicultural, so at an early age learned that taking multiple perspectives into account will only make an idea stronger. In fact, it is probably why I can't think about marketing without looking at psychology and the customer journey as well.
WHAT I'VE DONE
I've focused my education and career on Marketing, constantly improving and adding new skills. I learned branding from Harley-Davidson and Kellogg's. I learned how to acquire customers from Dish. I learned about digital advertising at Bridge. And I've created process efficiencies at Aimco, all while managing a team and directing great work.
WHAT I EXCEL AT
What I love most about marketing is solving business problems. I love to see the big picture and come up with ideas that are grounded in objectives so they stick, but also know how to connect the dots and make things happen. I am adaptable, have an eye for style, and great at staying on top of everything.
PORTFOLIO
I've worked closely with many talented designers to create some great work across multiple industries and clients.
See some of what I consider my most successful projects below.
A custom piece created for outreach to high-end customers. I secured the budget, wrote the copy and provided the art direction for this gorgeous piece.
Through late night conference calls with the client and a lot of coordination, I was the Account Manager on the creation of this quick turn ad that created a buzz and inspired future campaigns.
Provided strategy and art direction to utilize empty retail space to direct future residents to our community while showing them all we have to offer.
Having had success with sidewalk graphics, made a case for stair graphics to help create a grand entrance to our leasing center.
Provided strategic direction including demographic information and competitive landscape, as well as art direction to re-brand our community and update their signage.
Acting on an insight that many Hispanics in our target audience didn't qualify for contracts, we created an animated spot for an approachable pay-as-you-go service.
Using the Kellogg's brand, we created coupons to help inspire healthy mornings and promote our top selling breakfast items.
Reaching out to women riders, I helped coordinate the media buy for the client and even cast Deborah, our featured "real woman" rider.
Provided art direction and helped negotiate contracts for the interior decor (including a hand painted mural) for one of our leasing centers in CA.
